On 5 November 2026, OpenAI has unveiled GPT-6 Cyber, a model capable of identifying vulnerabilities and generating functional exploits on a large scale. OpenAI has announced that the model detected 81 unknown high-severity vulnerabilities in Mozilla Firefox and 948 privilege escalation exploits in Linux.
